Arcadia
Then: In 1985, Duran Duran took a break from themselves and formed two different groups, Power Station and
Arcadia. Arcadia consisted of singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and drummer Roger Taylor. Their album,
So Red the Rose, only had one hit single, "Election Day." The band only stayed together until 1986 and
then went to work on Duran Duran's next album, Notorious. By this time though, Roger Taylor had left Duran Duran
and would not work with the members again until 1994.
Now: Although Arcadia only put out one official album, there are two other CD's to collect, Remixes And
B-sides and Heavens Eyes. Both contain previously unreleased tracks and extended mixes.
