Led Zeppelin have been forced to postpone their one-off London performance at the O2 Arena on Nov. 26th due
to guitarist Jimmy Page breaking a finger last weekend. The show has been moved to Dec. 10th to enable the injury
to properly heal.
According to Chief Deputy D.A. Ron Bloxham at the Clark County District Attorney's Office,Tommy Lee "will
not pursue a battery charge against Robert James Ritchie, a.k.a. Kid Rock, involving a confrontation with Tommy
Lee on Sept. 9, 2007, at Palms Hotel and Casino."
Ozzy Osbourne has demanded an apology from Cass County Sheriff Paul Laney for using his name without his permission
when staging a sting operation. The sheriff sent out invites to 500 people with outstanding warrants to a fake
party at a nightclub in Fargo, North Dakota. More than 30 showed up and were arrested. According to the sheriff,
the sting was done to let the community know that his office was doing its best to serve about 3,000 outstanding
warrants. Laney said, "We meant no disrespect toward Mr. Osbourne or his show." Meanwhile, the singer
has also blamed illegal MP3 downloading for diminishing his income.
The 2007 Billboard Touring Awards nominations have been announced. The Police are up for Top Tour and Top Draw.
Genesis is up for Top Tour. Mana are nominated for Breakthrough Artist. Prince's performance at the O2 in London
is up for Top Boxscore.
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss' new studio album, Raising Sand, debuted last week at #2 on the Billboard 200
album chart. Neil Young's Chrome Dreams debuts at #11 followed by Bruce Springsteen's Magic (#12) and Reba McEntire's
Reba Duets (#14).
The Eagles could have a #1 album this week with their Long Road Out Of Eden. "Could" is the operative
word as Wal-Mart had until the end of the tracking week to decide whether they wish to report sales of the exclusive
album. Sources from the chain has said that it is the highest first-day sales seen there for an album and has exceeded
projections by 50%. It is expected that the album will not be reported for inclusion in the Top Comprehensive Albums
chart similar to the previous exclusive Garth Brooks release.
The Eagles' Long Road Out Of Eden has taken the top spot on the U.K. album chart. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss'
Raising Sand debuted at #4 followed by Whitney Houston's The Ultimate Collection (#5), Van Morrison's Still On
Top - The Greatest Hits (#8), Eric Clapton's Complete Clapton (#11), Phil Collins' Hits (#12) and Queen's Rock
Montreal (#20).
Rhino Entertainment recently presented a plaque celebrating the double platinum certification of Foreigner's The
Very Best... And Beyond to Mick Jones.
On Nov. 5th, Mike Peters of The Alarm will be among seven who will be awarded honorary fellowships this year (given
to leading members of the community) by Wrexham's NEWI.
Meat Loaf's tour promoter has been downplaying the singer's cutting short his performance in Newcastle after an
hour and telling the crowd that this was his final performance. Andrew Miller said, "I've spoken to his doctor,
and it's clear it's just exhaustion and stress. It's not his last ever gig, that's for sure."
Doro Pesch plans to release her new album, All We Are: The Fight, via Locomotive Records on Nov. 20th. The CD/DVD
contains a remixed and remastered version of her song, "All We Are," which she wrote and recorded with
her early band, Warlock, and 4 other tracks while the DVD portion contains 5 videos.
Hardcore thrash act Agnostic Front have released a video for their first single, "Addiction," from their
new studio album, Warriors, that heads to stores this week. The video can be seen at their MySpace page.
According to Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, Nikki Sixx's new project Sixx: A.M. have a #3 hit on
their hands with their single, "Life Is Beautiful." The song also is designated as having the most increased
radio plays during the last week.
Did you miss Bon Jovi's Lost Highway tour? Maybe you wanted less screaming fans and more popcorn. Either way, you
can head to one of 100 theaters on Tuesday (Nov. 6th) for a one-night engagement to view Bon Jovi's performance

Some of the original members of the March Violets are reforming (Rosie Garland, Simon Denbigh and Tom Ashton) for

Ringo Star will release Liverpool 8, his follow-up to 2005's Choose Love, on Jan. 15th. Starr reportedly co-wrote
all 12 of the original tracks on the album.
Joe Jackson will release his first new album in 5 years, Rain, via Rykodisc on Jan. 29th. The album features two
of the three original members of his longtime band.
National Geographic Cinema Ventures has announced their first major international release, U2 3D, heading to Real
D, IMAX 3-D and other digital 3-D theaters worldwide in late January. The film was shot during the band's Vertigo
Tour in South America.
The Sex Gang Children will release Live At Ocean, their new live DVD filmed in London on June 13th of 2002, in
the U.S. on Dec. 11th.
According to his manager, Morrissey is expected to sign a new recording deal soon that will see him release both
a new hits collection (with two new tracks) and a new studio album this next year.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are scheduled to release their 14th studio album, Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!, on Mar. 3rd.
Judas Priest's Rob Halford will see the release of a documentary entitled Fight War Of Words - The Film which contains
a mix of behind-the-scenes, pro-shot and hand-held footage from the singer first solo band, Fight, on tour, rehearsing
and recording sessions. The film is scheduled to debut in the U.S. on Nov. 20th.
Kylie Minogue has released her new single, "2 Hearts," from her new studio album, X, due out Nov. 26th.
She has also launched her own social networking Web site, KylieKonnect.com, which allows fans to register their
mobile phones, blog, communicate with other users and upload images and videos. Meanwhile, reports that she canceled
an upcoming tour due to health concerns have been dismissed by her label and representatives. Meanwhile, she was
also honored with the Music Industry Trust's annual award.
Big Arm release their debut album, Radiator, this week in the U.K. via iTunes, HMV.co.uk and BigArm.co.uk. The
group features Happy Mondays bassist Paul Ryder on bass and vocals and the band's former percussionist Lea Mullen.
Duran Duran have been announced as one of the confirmed performers for the 35th annual American Music Awards which
will be broadcast live on ABC on Nov. 18th. Celine Dion was previously announced.
Spear Of Destiny's new studio album, Imperial Prototype, heads to U.K. stores this week and a limited-edition double-disc
version will be available exclusively at kirkbrandon.com.
Cy Curnin of The Fixx has plans to self-release his second solo album, The Returning Sun, on Nov. 6th at his official

Michael Jackson has been working the print media recently to promote his 25th anniversary edition of Thriller.
He was in Brooklyn, New York, recently shooting a cover for an upcoming special collector's edition issue of Ebony
magazine.
Marillion have headed back into the studio to start experimenting and jamming with new ideas. Some of the tracks
recorded are expected to be part of their new double album due out next year between July and September. They are
already taking pre-orders for their 15th album at their Web site.
Janet Jackson was interviewed by Atlanta radio station Q100.5 last week and mentioned that her new studio album
will head to stores before March.
Coming Home Studios has announced the release of Steve Miller Band: Live In Chicago on Dec. 4th. This will be the
act's first-ever DVD release which comes in a 2-DVD and 1 CD package. The show was filmed in high definition during
their performance at the Ravinia this summer.
Jackson Browne and Bruce Springsteen are among artists that have contributed unreleased songs to the charity branch
of Hard Rock International for the new compilation, SERVE2, due out on Nov. 6th. All net proceeds from the CD will
benefit WHY (World Hunger Year.)
According to the Who's Roger Daltrey, bandmate Pete Townshend has been writing new material. Daltrey has been enjoying
the recent touring with the band and would like to avoid the long hiatuses that they used to have.
Waysted have plans to tour next year in support of their new studio album, The Harsh Reality, which was released

Gary Marx (a.k.a. Mark Pearman) has finished work on, Nineteen Ninety Five And Nowhere, a collection of material
from the first collaboration between the Sisters Of Mercy co-founder/lead-guitarist and the band's main man Andrew
Eldritch since 1984's First And Last And Always. The 1995 collaboration was shelved after Eldritch pulled out of
the project and Marx recently decided to finish the songs himself.
Leee John has recorded a cover of "Just The Two Of Us" as a duet with Jane Fostin which is available
in 4 different mixes at iTunes.
Producers have already shown interest in taking the new book by Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood, Ronnie: The
Autobiography, to the big screen. Wood has already mentioned that a second book is on the back burner.
Van Morrison has embraced digital downloading after years of holding out by making increasing his online catalog
from just a handful to 43 titles.
And One have recorded a new EP entitled Bodypop 1 1/2 on Dec. 14th. The group felt today's kids needed to hear
classic alternative anthems so the disc includes covers of tracks by Depeche Mode, The Cure, Nitzer Ebb, Front
242 and D.A.F.
Former Ramones manager Linda Stein, 62, was beaten to death inside her Manhattan apartment according to the ruling
of the medical examiner. Police have said they found no motive or suspects in the murder. After parting with the
band in 1980, she started a real estate career which landed her the title "broker to the stars" after
making deals for Bruce Willis, Billy Joel and Sting.
