Front Line Management, founded by Irving Azoff, have filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Axl Rose for nearly $1.9 million in unpaid fees.  The company claims that they had an oral agreement with Rose to receive 15% of the Guns N' Roses' frontman's commissions and that commissions are due on more than $12 million in earnings made for performances abroad.  Meanwhile, Doc McGhee who Rose claimed as his new manager on Feb. 16th has denied he's managing GN'R or Rose.  His talent roster can be seen at http://www.mcgheela.com.

According to the Newark Advocate newspaper, KC and the Sunshine Band co-founder Richard R. Finch, 56, has been charged with a fourth-degree felony of gross sexual imposition and is being held on a $250,000 bond.  The claims came from a 17 year-old boy last week.  Finch has reportedly been living in Newark, Ohio for 4 years working as a mentor to young music students.  A representative for the Grammy-winning producer/musician has adamantly stated, "We will let due process happen through the legal system and through that, we are sure Mr. Finch will be vindicated from these unfounded allegations."

The Associated Press reports that, according to the Carver County Taxpayer Services, Prince's PRN Music and his other properties are delinquent in taxes to the state of Minnesota to the tune of about $450,000.  A list of citizens in a similar situation was published in the Chaska Herald last week.

Placido Domingo has returned to singing in private and plans to be back on stage in a couple weeks.  Domingo has been recovering from surgery to remove a cancerous polyp from his colon.

Rush and Robert Charlebois will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame during their 6th annual gala on Mar. 28th.  Meanwhile, the Rush documentary, Beyond The Lighted Stage, premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on Apr. 24th.

Mary Chapin Carpenter will receive the Spirit Of Americana free speech in music award on Apr. 27th in Washington, D.C.  Carpenter will release her new studio album, The Age Of Miracles, via Zoe/Rounder Records on Apr. 27th.

The Scorpions will be inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk on Apr. 6th.  The honor comes right after the release of their new studio album, Sting In The Tail.

Sade's Soldier Of Love retained the #6 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart on sales of 40,000 copies.  Gorillaz's Plastic Beach fell 7 places to #9.  The Alice In Wonderland: Almost Alice soundtrack dropped 16 spots to #29.  The Crazy Heart soundtrack fell 14 places to #32.  The Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel soundtrack climbed 2 spots to #34.  Them Crooked Vultures' self-titled debut soared 82 places to #36.

Pearl Jam's "Just Breathe" retained the #78 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.

Glee Cast's Glee: The Music: Season One Vol. 2 debuted at #2 on the U.K. Albums chart.  Gorillaz's Plastic Beach dropped 2 spots to #4.  Glee Cast's Glee: The Music: Season One Vol. 1 climbed 3 places to #6.  Journey's Greatest Hits climbed 6 spots to #18.  Simply Red's Songs Of Love fell 19 places to #31.  Fleetwood Mac's The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac dropped a spot to #37.  Whitney Houston's The Ultimate Collection held steady at #39.

Glee Cast's "Don't Stop Believin'" climbed 3 spots to #25 on the U.K. Singles chart.  Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" climbed 3 places to #28.  Glee Cast's "True Colors" debuted at #35.

Gloria Estefan hosted a march on Thursday in Miami's Little Havana for freedom and human rights in Cuba.  Estefan said that she was inspired by the "Las Damas De Blanco" (Ladies In White) who attempted peaceful opposition marches in Havana earlier this month.

U2 guitarist The Edge has been battling it out with a small group of protesters in California over his plans to build a five-home development on 156 acres of land that he purchased for $8.5 million in the Sierra Canyon district of Malibu.

The Alarm have announced that they will be premiering the video for, "Direct Action," their new single on Friday Mar. 25th at www.TheAlarm.com.  Their new album heads to stores in April.

John Waite will release his new live album, In Real Time, in Europe on May 14th via Frontiers Records.  The music was recorded during Waite's 2009 tour.  Meanwhile, Waite is writing and working on new material for his next studio effort due out this year.

Guerre Froide released their new studio album, Abrutir les masses, on Mar. 15th via Flashbacks Futurs.  A vinyl edition is expected to follow shortly.

U.K. tabloid The Sun has reported that Boy George signed with VH1 to do a 6-part reality series about his attempt to relaunch his career.  George recently released his new single, "Amazing Grace."  Meanwhile, during several interviews he has said that Culture Club might reform for a one-off gig or a small tour next year to mark their 30th anniversary.

A few clips of Deborah Gibson's new song, "Cougar," have been leaked and surfaced on YouTube.  Rumors have claimed that it is an upcoming single but nothing has been confirmed at this time.  Search for it if you are curious.

Triumph will release their new CD/DVD package, Greatest Hits Remixed, in Europe via Frontiers Records on May 14th.  A previously unreleased recording of "Love Hurts" will be released as the lead single.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame punk rocker Iggy Pop has announced an end to his stage diving in an interview with Jam.  Pop said he landed flat on his face during a recent show at Carnegie Hall.  "When I landed it hurt and I made a mental note that Carnegie Hall would be a good place for my last stage dive."  He also said, "The audience were just like, 'What are you doing?'"

Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has confirmed that he has signed a book deal with Touchstone for publication next fall.  He recently told readers of his blog at the Seattle Weekly that it's not a GN'R tell-all but will touch on his time there as just part of his story.

Janet Jackson has signed on for another Tyler Perry film which will be an adaptation of the 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf.

While Sammy Hagar and Joe Satriani are writing new material, plans are underway for Chickenfoot to regroup in April to start recording their second album.  Meanwhile, the band will be making an animated appearance on this Sunday's episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

Glen Campbell is currently negotiating with several major labels to release his farewell album, Ghost On The Canvas, which will be supported by a farewell tour.  Campbell is collaborating with several artists including Chris Isaak, Wendy Melvoin and Paul Westerberg.

Rigor Mortis vocalist Bruce Corbitt has a new project, Warbeast, that has signed with Philip Anselmo's new record label Housecore Records.  Warbeast's debut album, Krush The Enemy, is due out in late April.

The reissue of expanded double-CD/DVD limited special edition versions of Duran Duran's 1981 eponymous debut and 1983's Seven And The Ragged Tiger will now be released on May 18th.  Arcadia's So Red The Rose reissue is still due out Apr. 20th.

Saxon's long-awaited documentary, Heavy Metal Thunder -- The Movie, will head to DVD in April.

Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus have stoked the fires of a possible Abba reunion when they told The Times newspaper during an interview that an intimate one-off performance that could be screened around the world could be a possibility.

Michael Schenker recently revealed that the Michael Schenker Group will release a new live DVD later this fall compiled from dates during their 30th anniversary tour of Japan.

Cyndi Lauper will be busy after her stint on Celebrity Apprentice as she has announced a 15 city U.S. tour starting in June and a new album on the way.

Dan Reed of the Dan Reed Network will release his new solo album, Coming Up For Air, on May 31st supported by a short U.K. tour.

Robert Plant has relaunched his Band Of Joy project and is currently recording a new studio album due out as early as this summer.

Ratt's new studio album, Infestation, is available for pre-order at iTunes in a special edition that includes 4 unreleased tracks ("Scatter" and 3 recorded live from the Rockline Studio.)  Infestation is due out Apr. 20th.  Meanwhile, Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer will release his autobiography, Tales Of A Ratt, on the same day the new album hits stores.

Crowded House have signed a deal with Universal Music (for everywhere but North America) to release their new studio album, Intriguer, in June.

Jane's Addiction's Perry Farrell has written and recorded a duet with Erasure's Andy Bell for Bell's upcoming solo album, Non-Stop, due out May 25th.

Diggy Simmons, the 15 year-old son of Reverend Run of Run DMC, has signed a deal with Atlantic.

Voiceprint and MVD Visual have announced the release of You Really Got Me: The Story Of The Kinks on DVD on May 18th in North America.

Killing Joke, Josef K, Chris and Cosey, Moev, Front 242, Tuxedomoon, Dead Can Dance, No More and 23 Skidoo are among the acts featured on the new compilation, Bustin' Out: New Wave To New Beat: The Post Punk Era 1979-1981.
