An agreement has been made between James Brown's 6 adult children and his partner, Tomi Rae Hynie Brown, on
Tuesday on where the late 'godfather of soul' will be buried. According to Hynie's attorney, the burial may take
place in the next few days and the resting place is being kept confidential. Meanwhile, a South Carolina judge
has ruled that a special administrator will oversee the work of the trustees who were accused of mismanaging Brown's
estate. Also, Tomi Rae has signed a deal that will see the release of a tribute album, Mrs. Brown: This Is For
You, which features both her and James singing together songs they wrote with one another.
The misdemeanor assault case filed against Hank Williams Jr. by cocktail waitress Holly Hornbeak has been dismissed
according to District Attorney General Bill Gibbons. "We didn't feel we had a case we could prove."
The family of Manuela Ruiz (who was moved from her hospital room at the Marian Medical Centre in Santa Maria so
that Michael Jackson could be looked at) have hired attorney James McKiernan to represent them. They claim that
Ruiz (who suffered a heart attack earlier that day) died that night due to mismanagement at the critical-care unit.
Jackson has been linked to Ruiz's death. No date has been set for the lawsuit to get underway. Meanwhile, the singer
is rumored to have discussed a tour with his family members.
Bobby Brown was arrested on Sunday night at Attleboro High School where he went to watch his daughter at a cheerleading
competition. This is the second time in a year that he's been arrested over failure to appear in Norfolk Probate
and Family Court.
Gerald Levert's posthumous album, In My Songs, debuted at #2 on The Billboard 200 album chart on sales of 165,000.
Melissa Etheridge won an Oscar for her song, "I Need To Wake Up," for best original song (from An Inconvenient
Truth.) The work of Ennio Morricone was recognized with an honorary award during the night and Celine Dion performed

INXS' Farris brothers (Andrew, Tim and Jon) will be inducted into the Western Australian Music Hall Of Fame. Bandmates

Elton John will see his new 17-track greatest hits collection, Rocket Man -- Number Ones, released on Mar. 27th
(2 days after his 60th birthday.) The collection will also include a bonus DVD containing 10 videos and performance
clips. A video for John's new single, "Tinderbox," will also be included. The singer's birthday concert
at New York's Madison Square Garden will be turned into a TV special that will air in the U.S. and Canada. John
will also appear on Timbaland's upcoming solo album, Shock Value, due out Mar. 27th.
Nine Inch Nails release their new concert video, Nine Inch Nails Live: Beside You In Time, this week on DVD, HD
DVD and Blue Ray DVD.
Be aware that there are two bands calling themselves Faster Pussycat. It seems that vocalist Taime Downe has been
fighting with guitarist/vocalist Brent Muscat over Muscat touring under the Faster Pussycat moniker in Europe as
Downe plans to tour the U.S. and Europe under the name shortly. Muscat recently responded to the allegations by
saying that he legally owns the band name and has been a member since 1986.
The Young Gods will release their new 12-track studio album, Super Ready/Fragmenté, across Europe on Apr.
23rd.
Due to some final artwork-related problems, Beowulf's new album, Westminster And 5th, will be have its release
date pushed back from Mar. 13th to April.
Bon Jovi are expected to release their new studio album in May. Meanwhile, Jon Bon Jovi has been announced as one
of the mentors for this season of American Idol.
The 2004 performances in Dallas, Texas, by Alan Jackson, George Strait and Jimmy Buffett was recorded and will
be released on a 15-track CD under the name Live At Texas Stadium on Apr. 3rd.
Former Duran Duran guitarist Andy Taylor has been recording new music at his Ibiza studio. He currently has 4 of
his new songs posted at his MySpace page. Meanwhile, his former bandmates are very excited about their upcoming
new studio album.
BMG has scheduled the Scorpions new studio album, Humanity - Hour 1, for release in Europe on May 14th.
Kenny Loggins will release his new 12-track studio album, How About Now, this week. The singer/songwriter will
be inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk on Mar. 7th.
Guns N' Roses' long-awaited new studio album, Chinese Democracy, has been postponed from its Mar. 6th tentative
release date. According to a post on their official Web site, "There is no official release date, as the band
is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along."
They also mention that recording of the album is finished.
Brenda Lee is finishing work on her upcoming album, Gospel Duets With Treasured Friends, featuring appearances
by Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Charlie Daniels, George Jones, Huey Lewis, Emmylou Harris, Pam Tillis and many others.
The CD is due out on Apr. 10th.
David Lee Roth will reissue remastered versions of his 1991 album, A Little Ain't Enough, 1994's Your Filthy Little
Mouth and Sonrisa Salvaje (a Spanish vocal version of 1986's Eat 'Em And Smile) on Apr. 3rd. This has been timed
with his Roth's joining Van Halen for an upcoming tour. This tour could be in jeopardy as reports from PollStar
claim that the tour will be "indefinitely postponed." Van Halen has yet to make an announcement.
Front Line Assembly's 1990 album, Caustic Grip, 1992's Tactical Neural Implant, 1994's Millennium, and 1997's Reclamation
will be reissued in Europe in March. The reissues are not remastered versions and include no bonus material.
Season 5 of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club will premiere in April. Tiffany, who is a cast member, has been busy off the
screen recording covers. She re-recorded her hit, "I Think We're Alone Now," as well as Alphaville's
"Forever Young," The Smith's "Panic (Hang The DJ)" and She Wants Revenge's "I Don't Wanna
Fall In Love" which are all available for download at iTunes and eMusic
A new 2-DVD set, The Best Of Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters, will be released on May 1st. The NBC series
featuring Barbara, Louise and Irlene Mandrell aired from 1980 to 1982.
Psychic TV will see a concert CD, Live In Russia, released in a 1,000 copy limited release. The material was recorded
on Oct. 14th of 2004 at Apelsin.
Black N Blue will see the release of 11 rare and live tracks from their archives, Rarities, on Apr. 24th via Crash
Music Classics.
The late Warren Zevon will be honored with the release of new editions of his 1981 live album, Stand In The Fire,
and 1982's Envoy (which hasn't previously been available on CD) on Mar. 27th. Also on the way is a book, I'll Sleep
When I'm Dead, chronicling his life and times as told through interviews with family members and peers (including
Lindsey Buckingham, Jackson Browne and David Crosby.)
Tori Amos plans to release her new studio album, American Doll Posse, on May 1st via Epic. A world tour is expected
to begin in Rome on May 28th.
The Fixx are in an English studio working on their follow-up album to 2003's Want That Life which is expected to
be released later this year.
Chris Connelly has released his new studio album, The Episodes, exclusively through the Durtro/Jnana Web site.
It is expected for a retail release in April.
Keith Sweat will launch his new radio show, The Keith Sweat Hotel, tonight. The show will air Sunday through Friday
from 7 p.m. to midnight in all time zones. 12 radio stations have signed up for the show which is syndicated through
Premiere Radio Networks.
The new CD, What's Love? (A Tribute To Tina Turner), is on the way. Tiffany, Jane Child, Deniece Williams, Kip
Winger and Alannah Myles featuring Jeff Healey are among the artists contributing covers for the disc.
Queens Of The Stone Age will release their new studio album, Era Vulgaris, in June. The album features guest appearances
by former member Mark Lanegan (of Screaming Trees), Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) and Billy F. Gibbons (of
ZZ Top.)
Night Ranger has announced that they will release their new studio album, Hole In The Sun, via Frontier Records
on Apr. 20th.
Erasure release their new single, "I Could Fall In Love With You," in the U.K. on Apr. 2nd in CD single,
maxi CD single and DVD single formats. Each includes different mixes of the songs but the maxi CD single includes
the bonus track, "I Like It." A 7-track version of the maxi CD single heads to the U.S. the following

Copies of It Bites' upcoming live album, When The Lights Go Down, is available for pre-order at their official

According to reports, singer John O'Banion died on Valentine's Day just prior to his 60th birthday. O'Banion released
4 studio albums beginning with his 1981 self-titled release.
